Training Coordinator - Soft Services

Job Summary:

The Training Coordinator for Soft Services is responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating training programs related to soft services within the organization. This role involves collaborating with various departments to assess training needs, developing training materials, and ensuring that employees receive effective and relevant training in areas such as customer service, communication skills, and other soft skills. The Training Coordinator will also track training progress, evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, and make recommendations for improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Training Needs Assessment:

  • Collaborate with department heads and managers to identify training needs for soft services.
  • Conduct surveys and interviews to assess employee skill gaps and training requirements.

2. Training Program Development:

  • Design and develop training programs that focus on soft skills improvement.
  • Create engaging and interactive training materials, including presentations, handouts, and multimedia content.

3. Training Coordination:

  • Schedule and coordinate training sessions, ensuring that they align with organizational goals and employee availability.
  • Communicate training schedules and details to relevant stakeholders.

4. Facilitation and Delivery:

  • Conduct training sessions for employees, utilizing effective instructional techniques.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

5. Training Evaluation:

  • Implement assessment tools to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Collect feedback from participants and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement.

6. Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and feedback.
  • Generate reports on training effectiveness and make recommendations for adjustments.

7. Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in soft skills training.
  • Collaborate with the HR department to integrate soft services training into the overall employee development strategy.

8. Compliance:

  • Ensure that training programs comply with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Monitor and update training materials to reflect changes in policies or procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Training and Development, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering soft skills training programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design.
  • Ability to assess training needs and tailor programs accordingly.
  • Proficiency in using training software and multimedia tools.
  • Knowledge of soft services in the context of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Training and Development.
  • Experience in the facilities management or service industry.
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms.
